Update on Summer/Fall 2020 Gatherings

By: Stephen Lewis
June 01, 2020

We remain committed to supporting members of the FTE community and are developing opportunities and resources to empower emerging Christian leaders.

Due to ongoing concerns about the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), FTE has decided to postpone all in-person gatherings scheduled for this summer and fall. This was not an easy decision to make, however, we are prioritizing the health and well-being of our event attendees, staff, and loved ones. We will continue to monitor and follow recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other health experts when planning future events.

We remain committed to supporting members of the FTE community and are developing opportunities and resources to empower emerging Christian leaders. We’ll share more details in the weeks ahead.

The following in-person gatherings have been postponed for this year:

  • Workshop on Writing and Publishing
  • Co-CREATE: Another Way to Lead
  • Innovative Christian Leadership Consultation
  • Forum for Theological Educators
  • 2020 Annual Alumni Reception at AAR/SBL

For resources and information on upcoming opportunities, visit our website and follow us @FTELeaders on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

We look forward to connecting with you online and pray you and your loved ones are safe and healthy during this time. Please watch the video above to hear more from FTE President Stephen Lewis.
