Change Maker and Risk Taker: Estela Martinez

Meet Estela Martinez—courageous youth pastor and immigrant. She helps families and young adults in her congregation obtain legal status in the United States while supporting students whose parents have been deported. In a time where the future is unclear for these dreamers, Estela partners with local attorneys to provide free legal advice for the community. But maybe most importantly, she gives hope to her youth that are constantly torn down by society and reminds them that they do not have to journey alone.
