Aracelis Vazquez Haye, Demeika Wheaton Neichelle, Neichelle Guidry, and Sheri Oluyemi Join FTE as New Trustees
[ATLANTA, Georgia] – (FEBRUARY 20, 2025) – The Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE) is pleased to welcome four distinguished leaders to its Board of Directors: Rev. Aracelis Vázquez Haye, Demeika Wheaton, Rev. Dr. Neichelle R. Guidry, and Sheri Oluyemi. Their diverse expertise in ministry, academia, law, and communications strengthens FTE’s mission to cultivate Christian leaders and theological educators.
Rev. Aracelis Vázquez Haye is an ordained American Baptist minister, life coach, and community organizer committed to fostering inclusive spaces for learning and transformation. She co-leads the Púlpito Fellows initiative, funded by the Lilly Foundation.
Demeika Wheaton, a communications leader and executive coach, serves as Senior Vice President at Porter Novelli, where she drives award-winning campaigns for social change. She is passionate about leadership development and mentoring young professionals.
Rev. Dr. Neichelle R. Guidry, Dean of the Chapel at Spelman College, is a renowned preacher and advocate for Black women’s spiritual wellness. She is a thought leader on faith and justice and the author of Curating a World: Sermonic Words from a Young Woman Who Preaches.
Sheri Oluyemi, an Atlanta-based employment attorney, specializes in workplace equity and legal advocacy. Her global perspective informs her work in creating professional environments where individuals and businesses thrive.
