Through discernment practices, a community of peers, inspiring storytelling, and many other resources, participants will have access to the support they need to explore what it takes to achieve a doctorate.

Scholars will receive invaluable resources within a supportive community, engage in insightful discussions, and receive practical guidance and strategies for entering the academic job market and becoming competitive applicants.

A five-week course for ministry practitioners working with young adults. It explores six key disciplines of discernment, the science behind their efficacy, and how to use them with diverse groups of young adults. This course is a prerequisite to Leading & Practicing Vocational Discernment.
In a rapidly changing world marked by unprecedented uncertainty, a shifting religious landscape, and evolving career paths and opportunities, discerning answers to questions about meaning and purpose is more pressing than ever. Everyone is navigating these types of questions at every stage of life, from understanding who you are, what your gifts are, how you are called to serve others with your gifts, to what to do with your life, who to do life with concerning a family, friends, and community, and caring for loved ones. Organizations, too, are increasingly focused on discerning the best way to navigate uncertainty and creating opportunities to discern how mission and purpose guide their work.
DISCERNext builds the discernment capacity of the next generation of leaders and a diverse ecosystem of Christian institutions engaged in the practice of vocational accompaniment with the next generation discerning meaning and purpose, and God’s call in their lives.
