Metropolitan AME Church is the longest continuously Black-owned property in the District of the Columbia. With families across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, they face many challenges being a commuter church—not to mention an ongoing pandemic. In an effort to provide a deeper sense of connection to their members, they created an online community for students and parents.
