An era marked by economic, political, and social unrest demands that the church and her academy question what’s possible as champions of truth, justice, and love. Can we fearlessly imagine and work toward a more impactful future?

In its mission to cultivate diverse, faithful, wise, and courageous leaders for the church, academy, and the world, FTE dares, double dares these emerging leaders to dream, imagine, and pursue the foolish and impossible. Why? Because great progress and worthy endeavors have arisen, not because they were practical, but because they were bold and inspirational!

If the church is to remain viable, FTE and its community of Christian pastors, organizational leaders, theological educators, and Christian innovators must invite young people to see purposeful callings in diverse communities of faith, pastoral leadership, theological scholarship, and service to others. When the next generation boldly gives their lives in service to God’s church and work in the world, a more hopeful future is possible.
